The New Old Well

The Old Well, an historic symbol of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seen on the evening of August 20, 2023, the night before the first day of class. The Old Well underwent renovations over the summer to improve accessibility by incorporating a new, sloped pathway on the north side of the structure and a slight lowering of the fountain itself.
