Campus Environment

This is the dome of our Christ the King Chapel here at St. Ambrose University. I was taking photographs of an event in another building when, looking to the southwest, I saw this incredible view through one of the tall windows and immediately raised my camera and took this photo. This is one of three photos I took that night. The title of this image came to mind immediately and it all made sense in that moment.

Thousands of American Flags on placed on Library lawn - each one representing a veteran who made the ultimate sacrifice since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.  The flags were on display throughout the week of Nov 6-11th in front of Edmon Low Library.
