Weather Vane

The weather vane atop Harkness Chapel rises over the fall foliage and the view of New London Harbor Friday, October 25, 2024. The chapel, when originally built in 1939, sported a cross atop the steeple, but when the chapel was renovated in 1990 the weather vane, in the design originally intended by the architect James Gambel Rogers, replaced the cross.
