A rare display of the Northern Lights graces the night sky over Kent State University’s Student Center, casting a mesmerizing green and purple glow. The aurora, typically seen in polar regions, is a rare treat for Ohio, adding an ethereal quality to the campus as students gather to witness the natural phenomenon. The university’s iconic “Flashes Take Care of Flashes” banner is illuminated below, highlighting Kent State’s spirit of community against a backdrop of awe-inspiring cosmic beauty.

Recreation, Tourism, and Sport management faculty offer canoe outings on campus to students in a variety of classes.

Photo taken during the general campus photos we take during each season of the year on campus.  The flaring around the sun is achieved by positioning the sun halfway behind (or in this case, in between) something and stopping the lens down to around f/8.

This photo was taken on Illinois State University's campus, featuring the bronze bust of our mascot, Reggie Redbird.  This spot is very popular with all incoming freshmen and graduating seniors to take photos at, and our school's motto is inscribed on the semicircle of concrete surrounding the bust.

Sometimes the wind proves to be just a little too strong for the umbrella.
