John Skeats ’73, who now goes by Yonten Rabgye, (which translates to “abundant and flourishing virtues”), was ordained as a Buddhist Monk in April 2023 after learning about Buddhism in 2018 during a trip with a friend to Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery in Woodstock, N.Y., pictured November 17, 2023. Rabgye worked for IBM after college in the 1970s where he spent 35 years in sales before retiring.
