Cal State Long Beach Alumna Jacqueline Valenzuela, 2019, received her Bachelor Fine Arts in drawing and painting from the College of the Arts. Valenzuela is a Chicana-identifying artist who has made an impact in the traditionally male SoCal lowrider car scene. She has also made inroads into the regional fine art scene with work that blends “high” and “low” art, as well as classic and unconventional, industrial materials.
