Crystal Holmes, DPM, is a podiatric physician practicing in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2002, and already her professional career and media resume have taken flight.

Currently, she is a clinical instructor at the University of Michigan Medical School, serving in the Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Diabetes Division. Dr. Holmes earned her undergraduate degree at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Alum and adaptive surfer Claudio Morales is preparing for the World Surfing Championship on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Morales grew up surfing in Chile, where he began surfing at the age of three. He currently lives in Santa Cruz, where he spends his days surfing at the Pleasure Point Park coast waves. Morales suffered spinal cord injury in a car accident 12 years ago, while he was a student. After his accident, Morales underwent therapy to recover mobility where he was introduced to Adaptive Surfing and decided we wanted to be part of it, once he recovered.
