A trumpet player waits for his turn to play taps at the university's Veteran's Day service.

Jennie Golaszewski will be graduating in December with a degree in environmental sustainability and a minor in geospatial technology. “I didn’t realize GIS existed until I came to college,” Golaszewski said. “There is so much you can do with it.” Golaszewski was the vice president of the geography club and spent a lot of her time in the GIS lab.

Aubry Davis is captured in the midst of creating her winning design for the tea time fashion show college-wide competition. Seated at her workspace, she carefully sketches her concept, part of the student-driven process where participants draw their own designs and later bring them to life in a full runway fashion show.

The Nittany Lion reveal is a celebration of the student who embodies the Nittany Lion mascot during their time at Penn State. Penn State is unique in that it is one of only a few universities that has a single student serve as the mascot anonymously while attending the university. Mason Reber is the 54th student to take on this role, serving from 2023 to 2026.
