Photographed for MSU's Alumnus Magazine, Dr. Scott Grawe, once recruited to play baseball for the Bulldogs, pursued his pitching career at another university. However, a call out of the bullpen secured his spot on the roster as the Dean of MSU's College of Business. Now, he's making business pitches and creating out-of-the-park opportunities for MSU.
The on campus National Public Radio has gone through several names through the years but the station has been steadfast in informing the community to the best of its ability. NPR Illinois, as it is now known, celebrates 50 years of being on the air in 2025.

Hobart ’03 is an Assistant Professor of Native and Indigenous Studies at Yale University. An interdisciplinary scholar, she researches and teaches on issues of settler colonialism, environment, and Indigenous sovereignty. The Center for the Arts and Humanities Summer Institute on the Environmental Humanities brought Hobart as one of the seminar leaders.
