Exploded View Engineer

Cole Kalkowski is an Engler agribusiness entrepreneur, mechanical engineering student with a side business of photography and videography. For his portrait to show his passions, he sent me an internet photo of an exploded view of a camera and asked if I could do something like that. A call to a camera repair business yielded a unrepairable DSLR and zoom lens. Then I had fun. I tore it down into as many parts as I could. Cole held the core camera and his mech engineering calipers in the studio and then I shot pieces and pieces of the camera.
