There‘s a colorful new mural outside Alumni Arena. UB Athletics unveiled the mural to mark the 50th anniversary of Title IX. The project was a joint initiative by the Division of Athletics and the UB Gender Institute.
“We are honored to be selected as one of the contemplative sites on campus,” says Senior Associate Athletic Director for Sports Administration D'Ann Keller.
“This mural allows us to celebrate the history of our female student-athletes, coaches and staff. The prominent location will be a constant reminder to all who enter Alumni Arena of the importance of this initiative to the university and the Western New York communities.”
