Right-handed starter, Carter Krosky, illustrates the mechanics of his fastball during a photo shoot in the studio. Krosky's elbow surgery kept him from the mound last year, but plans to return this spring. This single-frame image was created in-camera using a two-second exposure and a multiple pop setting on the Broncolor strobe. Two B1x Profoto heads, placed in line with the throw (one to the subject's back and the other to his face) were set to the optical trigger option to sync with the Broncolor positioned overhead.
