Utility player CJ Coyler poses with his bat and three gloves that he uses for the various positions that he plays. CJ and the designer were discussing how he could illustrate being a multi-position utility player when I suggested hanging the gloves on the bat. Before all the fancy sports bags that the travel teams now give to the players, we used to hang our glove on our bat and hold the bat on the handle bars of the bike while riding home.
