All-conference linebacker Cameron channels the spirit of the Miners—bringing the boom both on and off the field. With explosions behind him, a pickaxe in hand, and a 4.0 GPA in mining and explosives engineering, he’s not just playing for the win—he’s built to ignite a legacy.
A series of live detonations were used for the shoot and the fireballs are captured in camera. Photoshop was used to remove a small mark on the numbers of the jersey and some loose threads. Multiple cameras, each with their own lighting setup, were used to capture different focal lengths for each explosion.
An all-conference linebacker, Cameron brings the boom on and off the field as a 4.0 student majoring in mining and explosives engineering. He's also a huge Game of Thrones fan (arm tattoo) and loved the look of summoning fire and the experience of the photos.
