Mission Statement
The UPAA is an international organization of college and university photographers concerned with the application and practice of photography as it relates to the higher education setting. Our organization is committed to photographic excellence through continuing education and networking with our professional colleagues.

We offer four levels of membership to best fit your situation. After creating an account below your application will be reviewed by our membership chair. Once your application is approved you will receive an email with further instructions on how to complete the process and pay for your membership. Memberships are active from July 1 to June 30, new members who join late in the year are granted an extension into the following year.   1. Full Membership $150/year- Current employees whose primary job is photography.
  2. Video Producer Membership $70/year- Current Employees whose primary job is video production.
  3. Associate Membership $75/year- Friends of the profession or freelancer.
  4. Student Membership $25/year
  5. Retired Membership $50/year
  6. Corporate Partner memberships are free and need to be renewed each year. 

Payment Options
UPAA accepts checks, debit cards, P Cards, and credit cards for payment. PayPal is our credit card processing tool however, a PayPal account is not necessary. Before continuing please be sure you are not logged into a PayPal account unless you plan to use it for payment.
